Surajit Chandra Shikder is the 29th Attorney General of Bangladesh. He was sworn in as the Chief Legal Adviser to Honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina (Wazed) on 9 January 2021. He was appointed by the Government of Bangladesh and is responsible for advising the government on legal matters, representing them in litigation before Supreme Court, High Court and Subordinate Courts, approving legal documents signed by Ministers and other public officials from time to time.
